Wheelchair Access

Aulber House is an ideal place to stay for wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties. Unlike many other B&B facilities in Ireland this guest house has been built with a specially designed bedroom to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible!

The room is fitted with hand rails on the walls for extra assistance, non slip flooring, and a roll-in shower with shower chair. This bedroom is ideally located on the ground floor of Aulber House for easy access. The hallways are nice and wide and we also have a portable wheelchair ramp that can be fitted at the main entrance to allow our guests to enter the premises with ease.

Aulber House has featured in The Irish Times Newspaper and Spoke Out Magazine (published by the Irish Wheelchair Association) due to its excellent facilities and wheelchair access and is the most accessible, wheelchair friendly, bed & breakfast facility you will find in the town of Cashel!

Aulber House has ¬†been awarded a “Category 3” under the Validated Accessible Scheme (VAS). This means that it has been found to have:

  • General Access through the premises.
  • General Access for wheelchair users including those who can transfer unaided to and from their wheelchair.
